On your first visit to FBE, a member of our highly trained staff will have you stand on the Inbody Composition Analyzer, hold onto the handles and relax while the unit assesses your Lean Body Mass, Body Fat, and Body Water.  Your Segmental Muscle Strength will also be tested - so you’ll be able to see what areas are in need of improvement, and as time passes, you’ll be able to track the direct progress you make as you increase muscle mass in your body.

The InBody will also measure your Basal Metabolic Rate to help gauge the amount of calories you should be consuming on a daily basis for optimal health. Based on your results, the InBody will make a recommendation of how much muscle and fat you should gain or lose in order to achieve your ideal body composition.

Planning For Your Visit

Do not exercise, eat, sauna or shower for at least two hours prior to the test to provide the most accurate readings.  Please be sure to remove any jewelry and metal objects that fall below the neck as they will interfere with the machine.  The InBody Composition Analysis is not recommended if you have any type of metal implants (pins or screws from surgeries for example).
