FBE Spa is the result of my own personal journey from illness to good health. I am so grateful for this journey that bringing holistic methods of healing to others has become my passion and my purpose in life.

At age 20 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, an inflammatory process that can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract. Among the symptoms are abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, weight loss, skin rashes, arthritis, inflammation of the eye, tiredness and lack of concentration. There is no known cure in Western medicine for Crohn’s Disease. Treatment is limited to managing symptoms and reducing the number of outbreaks.

For me this meant endless tests, surgeries, and more and more medications — all of them with side effects that made me even sicker. I knew that I could not go on punishing my body.That’s when I sought out Oriental Medicine. Acupuncture and herbal remedies that are used by Chinese doctors haven proven themselves for more than 5,000 years, and they turned out to be the answer for me. I’m in my 40s now and have been in excellent health for many years.

Opening Firm Body Evolution (FBE Spa) in 2008 was the culmination of my mission to bring this message to the people of the Los Angeles area: When your doctor is out of answers, don’t give up — look elsewhere!

Here, it's not about transforming your body into something you'd like to be.  It's about renewing yourself to something you are and you've always been and teaching you how to maintain that ideal state of being.
